Accomplishments:

• In high school, Steve won four All-American titles and six All-State titles.

• In 2004, Steve came in fifth in the Olympic trials.

• His personal best record in the 3000m (1.86 miles) Steeplechase event is 8:15:69. (The Steeplechase is a race in which runners must jump or step over a series of 3-foot tall wooden barriers and a huge pit of water!)

Fun Facts:

• Steve has a black belt in karate.

• Though he lives in Boulder, Colorado now, he still loves the east coast and goes back often to visit his parents.
