Accomplishments:

• While attending the University of Colorado, Sara was the 2003 National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Indoor 5,000m Champion and the 2005 NCAA 10,000m Champion.

• In 2006, she was the runner-up in the USA Outdoor Championships in the 10,000m event.

• She won the 10,000m event at the 2007 Pan Am Games.

Fun Facts:

• Sara finished college in 2005, with her bachelor’s degree in economics and business, and her master’s degree in education.

• She loves the summertime, when she can get to the beach, enjoy ice cream, and let her husband Steve do some cooking on the grill.
