Accomplishments:

• Matt played football and ran track in high school, for which he was a 4-time state champion.

• During college, he was named a USA Track and Field (USATF) Junior All-American in the 1500m and a Cross Country Academic All-American.

• He finished third in the USA 10K and 5K Road Championships and second in the USA Half-Marathon Championship.

Fun Facts:

• He attended college at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa on a track scholarship, and he studied Early Childhood Education.

• Matt has two sisters and two brothers who are very supportive of him.
