Young Professionals Committee
NYRR's Young Professionals Committee (YPC) is a group of volunteers dedicated to New York Road Runners’ mission to transform lives through running. Specifically, the group raises funds and awareness for NYRR’s community-based youth running programs which promote physical health, emotional well-being, and personal achievement in schools and community centers in New York City, across the United States and around the world.
The YPC plans, publicizes, and hosts several events each year, including fun runs, happy hours, and other fitness-related social events. YPC members play a critical role in spreading NYRR’s mission to new individuals and corporations across the metro area. They also volunteer throughout the year directly with NYRR youth programs as race buddies, course marshals, and at health events around the city. The YPC welcomes new members year-round; consider joining the cause!
Our events are open to anyone and everyone interested! Please come out and join us soon!
For further information on the YPC, please visit us on Facebook or contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We regularly post event dates and details on our Facebook page so check back often!
